I have been teaching violin lessons since 2006. Classically trained as a child for 11 years, I attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Violin Performance.
Each of my students begin their training loosely following the Suzuki Method of instruction, but as technique and ability progress, the student’s interests will help determine what we study. Enjoying what you’re learning is an integral part of successfully “sticking with it” when things get tough, so a personal investment from the student by helping select pieces that excite them stylistically goes a long way.
