Katie Howard tells the stories in life's ordinary moments through country music.

A Virginia-based artist-songwriter and fiddle player, Katie writes about the people, relationships, and moments that shape a life. Her songs find meaning in the everyday—from family stories and lasting love to heartbreak, growing older, and the moments we wish we could hold onto a little longer.

A classically trained violinist and graduate of Belmont University with a degree in violin performance, Katie brings a distinctive instrumental voice to her music. Her sound draws from country, roots, Americana, and bluegrass traditions, influenced by artists including Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and Lori McKenna.

Based in Seaford, Virginia, Katie has built an active live presence throughout the Virginia Peninsula, Williamsburg, Hampton Roads, and surrounding Virginia markets. With a growing catalog of original music, she is now expanding her reach into regional stages and audiences throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic.
